What is the size and weight of a Vector® Ball?

Vector® Ball is approximately 9 inches in circumference and 5.25 ounces (similar to a baseball or cricket ball).

Does Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) with the Vector® Ball work for all ages?

Yes, Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) with the Vector® Ball is for all skill levels and all ages (youth to professional). Vector® Ball facilitates CVT exercises and drills that improve an athlete’s information processing ability and speed of reaction. Anyone wanting to improve their decision making and mental acuity will benefit from adding CVT with Vector® Ball to their training program.

Does Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) with the Vector® Ball work for all sports?

Yes, Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) with the Vector® Ball is used to improve athletic performance for practically every sport including Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Pickleball, Cricket, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Motor Sports, and more. Vector® Ball facilitates CVT exercises and drills that improve an athlete’s information processing ability and speed of reaction. Any sport that requires decision making and mental acuity benefits from adding CVT with Vector® Ball to their training program.

Can the Vector® Ball be used outside?

Vector® Ball can be used in practically any training environment. Please note that Vector® Ball color changes are difficult to see in direct sunlight.

Is the Vector® Ball water proof?

Yes, Vector® Ball can be submerged in water without damaging the Ball. Please note that Vector® Ball should not be left outside as prolonged exposure to the elements can degrade it over time.

Is the Vector®Ball durable?

Yes, Vector® Ball is very durable. It can be thrown, bounced, skipped, etc. against practically any surface (concrete, brick, wood, tile, etc.), at game speed, without damaging the Ball. It is the most versatile and dynamic Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) device available.

How hard is the Vector® ball?

Vector® Ball is very firm but not hard like a baseball or cricket ball. It is firmer than a tennis ball, but it can be compressed with a strong squeeze.

Is the Vector® Ball patented?

Yes, multiple patents apply.

What is the difference between Vector® Ball and Vector® Ball +?

Vector® Ball + has the same great function and utility as the original however, thanks to some design improvements by Eye On Ball Inc. engineers, the Vector® Ball + is stronger and lasts longer.

Does the Vector® Ball improve athletic performance for all sports?

Vector® Ball is a Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) device. It is used to improve athletic performance for practically every sport including Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Cricket, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Motor Sports, and more. It supports a full spectrum of CVT drills to improve the Speed of Reaction for all athletes.

How long do Vector® Ball batteries last?

Vector® Ball is engineered to provide twelve (12) months of quality Cognitive Vision Training (CVT). The batteries are not rechargeable however, they are the highest quality available. Please note that battery life is dependent on cycles and durations of use (workouts) but in most cases Vector® Ball will support thousands of CVT exercises before the batteries expire.

How does the Vector® Ball work?

Vector® Ball emits a short burst of light, randomly changing the color of the ball (Red, Green, or Blue) each time it is bounced, caught, etc. This provides unpredictable information that enables Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) exercises and drills. For example: if the athlete sees the Vector® Ball turn “Red”, then they must catch it with their “Right” hand (execute a specific action associated with the observed color). The result is an improved ability to rapidly transfer information into deliberate athletic action (Speed of Reaction).

What is Cognitive Vision Training (CVT)?

Cognitive Vision Training (CVT), sometimes referred to as Neuro-Visual Training, are exercises and drills that improve your information processing ability (the time it takes to respond correctly to a specific situation). A lot happens between your brain receiving information (images), and your brain actioning muscles. This process includes: recognizing images, associating images with previous images, calculating/predicting movement, determining relevance, and coming up with solutions as to what will be done in response to the information received. This is why the brain is the most important part of performance; in the end, muscles simply do what they are told. CVT introduces unpredictable information during exercises and drills that provide instruction on what is required next. For example, if the athlete sees the Vector® Ball turn “Green” then they must go “Left” etc. CVT exercises the brain’s ability to process information, and like muscles, the brain improves with exercise

What is a Vector® Ball?

Vector® Ball is a Cognitive Vision Training (CVT) device. It randomly changes color (Red, Green, or Blue) with each impact (bounced, caught, etc.). This random color change enables CVT by providing unpredictable information during exercises and drills. Our patented technology was designed into the Vector® Ball to make it the most versatile, durable, and dynamic CVT device available. It facilitates a full spectrum of CVT and you can train with the 3-inch Ball almost anywhere.
